Angelo Tarlazzi was born in Italy in 1942. He started his career Carosa. In 1966 he went to Paris as an assistant to Michael Goma in Jean Patou. I the late 69s he was affiliated with Laura Biagiotti. In 1971 he started to work freelance and spend his time between New York, Milan, Paris and Rome. In 1972 he was Back at Patou until 1977. In 1977 he started his own label, creating unconventional clothes for conventional women. Neat and sculpted designs. Very fond of layering. Ftom 1989 to 1993 he designed for the house Guy Laroche. From 1995 to 1995 he was artistic director of the house of Carven. And in 1998 he returned designing for his own label full time.
This fabulous dress is made of two separate layers. In a sparkly electric blue fabric. A tagged size 36. Please check measurements because vintage sizes can run smaller.
