Edwardian Cotton Maxi Petticoat with Red Monogram Embroidery | Adjustable Waist | Everyday Summer Skirt
This absolutely stunning Edwardian petticoat is a dreamy piece of antique lingerie reimagined as the perfect everyday skirt. Made of soft white cotton, it features a delicate red monogram with the initials A B hand-embroidered at the center of the waistband — a beautiful and personal detail. Women in the early 1900s often embroidered their initials onto undergarments and nightgowns, both for identification and as a mark of pride in their trousseaux.
This piece showcases exquisite craftsmanship, with a beautifully pleated center panel, intricate inset lace around the skirt, and a hem finished with fluttering ruffles and lace trim. It is made of two layers of fabric, giving it a graceful weight and lovely movement.

All measurements are taken with the garment lying flat (in inches). (1 inch = 2.54 cm)

For reference, It fitted both of my the mannequins, one is a women’s size 2-4 USA with the following measurements:
• Chest: 33.86”
* Shoulder: 15”
• Waist: 26.7”
• Hips: 24”
And the other mannequin is a women’s size Large with the following measurements:
• Bust: 38.18” (97 cm)
• Waist: 31.10” (79 cm)
• Hips: 40.94” (104 cm)

• Vintage and antique items have been previously loved, so small imperfections may exist.
• Hand-dyed pieces: Due to the nature of hand-dyeing, colors may not be perfectly even. Please wash these items delicately, preferably alone or with similar colors.
• Antique fabrics (pre-1930s): Delicate materials such as 1920s silk or Edwardian muslin require extra care. These fabrics can be fragile and should be worn loosely to prevent stress or tearing.
Things to Consider for Edwardian & Victorian Clothing:
• A marked XS piece may have medium-sized shoulders and hips but a tiny waist (corset-era sizing).
• Sleeves are often ¾ length, not full-length.
• Buttons may be mismatched due to age and previous repairs.
