Antique Edwardian Slip Dress / Nightgown – E B Initals Embroidered
This breathtaking Edwardian white cotton slip dress/nightgown is a true heirloom piece, featuring exquisite embroidery and a delicate cut-out flower at the center of the chest. Adding to its charm, the initials E B are beautifully embroidered, giving it a personal and historical touch. The lace-trimmed sleeves enhance its romantic elegance.
To restore and preserve this beauty, I covered a few tiny pinholes with antique white crochet lace appliqués—three on the front and four on the back. The result is simply stunning! This piece was meant to be brought back to life, and now it’s ready for a new chapter. A rare and dreamy antique find, perfect for lounging or wearing as a one-of-a-kind summer dress. ✨
