A romantic 1930s full-length satin slip, individually hand-dyed in a luminous aqua with beautiful tonal variations throughout.
Cut on the bias for an elegant, body-skimming silhouette, it features a deep V neckline, delicate lace edging, slender shoulder straps, and graceful floral embroidery across the bodice. The softly flared skirt is finished with matching lace along the hem.
A coordinating silky sash is included and may be tied at the waist to create a more defined silhouette or removed for a relaxed, fluid look.
There is no fabric label, so we cannot confirm the exact fiber content. The fabric is a fluid, lustrous satin, possibly rayon.
One small embroidered flower appliqué was carefully added to the front of the skirt to cover a previous area of damage. Please see the close-up photographs.
The slip has been individually hand-dyed. The subtle tonal variations and softly mottled areas are natural characteristics of the artisanal dyeing process and make this piece entirely unique.
A beautiful piece of wearable vintage that can be worn as lingerie or styled as a dress. Pair it with delicate heels for an Old Hollywood look, or add a blazer, sandals, and vintage jewelry for an effortless evening outfit.
