An extraordinary 1930s gown crafted from pure silk in its original soft peach tone.
This is one of those rare pieces that becomes more beautiful the closer you look. Delicate floral embroidery appears not only across the fitted bodice, but also along the wide shoulder straps and throughout the skirt—an exceptional detail that sets this gown apart from more traditional silk gowns of the period.
The sculpted bodice features a softly pointed waistline and a romantic sweetheart-inspired neckline. Wide embroidered shoulder straps frame the décolletage, while the dramatically low back fastens with a row of delicate mother-of-pearl buttons.
The long, fluid silk skirt falls beautifully from the waist and is finished with embroidered floral motifs, softly ruffled architectural panels and a sweeping train that pools gracefully behind the wearer. The movement of the silk is truly breathtaking.
Originally created as an elegant 1930s silk gown, it would make an unforgettable alternative bridal dress for a bride drawn to color, history and something entirely her own.
