A truly one-of-a-kind heirloom piece, this exquisite late 1920s silk nightgown has been thoughtfully restored and artistically reimagined to celebrate its history while giving it new life.
Crafted from luminous champagne silk with a fluid, elegant drape, this exceptional garment features delicate tone-on-tone floral embroidery that gracefully frames the neckline, complemented by an original lace yoke at the back.
The restoration features carefully selected antique lace appliqués, thoughtfully incorporated throughout the garment. A dramatic couture-inspired appliqué transforms the front neckline, while additional antique lace appliqués have been delicately placed on both shoulders, the backlower skirt, creating a harmonious design that celebrates the gown’s history while giving it new life.
The underarm seams have been thoughtfully reshaped to create a softer, more comfortable silhouette, allowing the gown to be worn effortlessly as a contemporary dress while respecting its original proportions.
The back retains its graceful gathered neckline, creating beautiful movement throughout the garment. A discreet antique lace appliqué has also been added to the lower back as part of the restoration, adding another subtle handcrafted detail.
Whether styled loose for an ethereal look or belted at the waist, this piece transitions beautifully from an antique nightgown to an elegant silk dress.

Professionally cleaned and carefully restored. Due to its age, extremely minor signs of wear consistent with nearly a century of history may remain, adding authenticity and character without affecting wearability.
