Description
An authentic 1930s–1940s rayon slip thoughtfully reimagined into a one-of-a-kind camisole.

The original skirt had become too damaged to preserve, but the beautifully constructed bodice deserved a second life. Rather than discarding the garment, I carefully transformed it into a modern cropped top while preserving its original silhouette, delicate floral lace cups and elegant bias-cut construction.

To complete the piece, I hand-finished the front hem with delicate lace, creating a soft, feminine finish that feels true to the era while making the garment wearable for today.
The luminous rayon has a beautiful fluid drape and subtle sheen that photographs beautifully and feels incredibly comfortable to wear.

This versatile piece looks stunning:
• with high-waisted jeans
• paired with silk trousers
• layered under a linen blazer
• worn with a flowing skirt for an effortless romantic look

Although inspired by vintage lingerie, it wears beautifully as an everyday statement top.
Every reimagined garment I create is completely unique—once it’s gone, there will never be another exactly like it.

Condition
Very good  restored vintage condition.
The skirt of the original slip was too damaged to preserve and has been artistically transformed into this wearable piece. Minor signs of age are consistent with authentic vintage garments and add to its character.
