1930s Peach Silk Chiffon Gown — Bias-Cut with Bishop Sleeves
A breathtaking late 1930s silk chiffon gown in soft peach, flowing in that unmistakable bias-cut silhouette of the era. The bodice features a plunging V neckline with delicate vintage buttons and airy bishop sleeves that gather softly at the shoulders and wrists. The waist ties with a matching ribbon, replacing the original belt — perfectly suited to the gown’s romantic tone.
The skirt falls in a fluid line, catching the light with every movement. Two small areas near the hem had been restored with a vintage floral appliqué — an artistic touch that adds to its character and history.
Originally intended as a boudoir or evening lingerie gown, it’s now a stunning statement piece for modern wear — effortlessly elegant styled with strappy heels, or worn as an ethereal slip dress for an intimate celebration or bridal moment.

Things to Consider for Edwardian & Victorian Clothing:
• A marked XS piece may have medium-sized shoulders and hips but a tiny waist (corset-era sizing).
• Sleeves are often ¾ length, not full-length.
• Buttons may be mismatched due to age and previous repairs.
