1930s White Cotton Organdy Graduation Dress – Reno Keepsake 🤍

The auction house noted the dress arrived  with a handwritten note from its original consignor: “Graduation Dress – Reno, NV.” A quiet yet powerful glimpse into a young woman’s milestone moment. Though time had left a few tiny pinholes and tears, we gave this treasure the gentle restoration it deserved, covering damages with antique lace appliqués —bringing her beauty back to life without losing her soul. The result is seamless.
Includes a detachable cream satin ribbon in case you’d like to cinch the waist and create a defined, feminine silhouette.

• Antique fabrics (pre-1930s): Delicate materials such as 1920s silk or Edwardian muslin require extra care. These fabrics can be fragile and should be worn loosely to prevent stress or tearing.
Things to Consider for Edwardian & Victorian Clothing:
• A marked XS piece may have medium-sized shoulders and hips but a tiny waist (corset-era sizing).
• Sleeves are often ¾ length, not full-length.
• Buttons may be mismatched due to age and previous repairs.
