Dreamy late 1930s to 1940s sheer cotton organdy dress in the softest icy powder blue with romantic lingerie-inspired details throughout. An incredibly ethereal piece with sheer voluminous sleeves, delicate lace ruffle trim, matching covered buttons, and original matching belt.
The fabric has a weightless airy quality that gives the dress a truly cinematic presence when worn. The silhouette is soft and fluid with a beautifully romantic feel typical of late 1930s and early 1940s boudoir and hostess fashions.

Condition:
Beautiful antique/vintage condition overall with visible signs of age and wear consistent with delicate garments of this era. There are scattered areas of discoloration, faint age spotting, and some light yellowing/staining visible in various areas including near parts of the bodice, cuffs, and lace trim. The matching belt shows wear, age discoloration, and some structural softness from time, though it remains wearable and presents beautifully with the dress. Minor irregularities and wear are present around some buttons and closures. Please review all photographs carefully as they are part of the description.
