Vintage 1966s–70s Shirokiya Japanese Silk Robe – Red Hot Elegance

A showstopper. This vintage 100% silk robe by legendary Japanese department store Shirokiya is everything — bold, luxurious, and wildly wearable. Featuring a vibrant cherry red base adorned with traditional floral and bird motifs it drapes beautifully and feels like a dream on the skin.

Trimmed with golden printed borders and finished with a matching sash tie, this piece moves between loungewear and statement outerwear with effortless flair. It’s made in Japan and cut in the classic kimono-inspired silhouette that defined the luxe lounge look of the late ‘60s and ‘70s.

Shirokiya, founded in 1662, was by then an elite department store catering to both Japanese and international customers with exquisite silks and export garments.
