A beautiful 1930s ivory satin nightgown with an elegant illusion of a two-piece design. Although it appears to have a separate camisole and skirt, this is an original one-piece gown, thoughtfully constructed to create a softly bloused bodice over a sleek bias-cut skirt.
The bodice features delicate floral lace panels at the bust and waist, accented by lustrous satin inserts that catch the light beautifully. Tiny gathered shoulder details add a romantic finishing touch, while the flowing bias-cut skirt drapes effortlessly, creating the graceful silhouette that defines the era.
There are no fabric labels, but the satin has a luxurious hand and beautiful fluidity. While the exact fiber content cannot be guaranteed, it presents beautifully and feels wonderfully elegant.
