Welcome to Lulu Boop Vintage — a curated world of antique and vintage garments, thoughtfully preserved and reimagined to be worn again. Each piece is one of a kind, carrying its own past and ready to become part of yours.

A breathtaking 1930s bridal boudoir gown with timeless Old Hollywood elegance. Cut on the bias to gracefully skim the body, this exquisite piece features a fluid full-length skirt paired with a sheer embroidered lace bodice that creates a beautifully soft and feminine silhouette.

The front is finished with two delicate fabric-covered buttons at the neckline, while the back is accented with a long self-tie sash that gently defines the waist. The combination of luminous satin and intricate embroidered lace gives this gown the effortless glamour that made 1930s bridal lingerie so unforgettable.

Whether displayed in a collection, worn as a bridal getting-ready gown, honeymoon piece, or cherished as wearable textile art, this gown remains an exceptionally romantic example of luxury lingerie from the era.

The fabric appears to be silk satin, offering a beautiful fluid drape and soft luminous finish characteristic of fine period garments. There are no manufacturer’s labels or fiber content tags, therefore the exact fiber composition cannot be guaranteed.

Condition
Good antique condition with age-appropriate wear and thoughtful restoration.
Please note that the finished edges surrounding the entire bodice—including the neckline, armholes, shoulders, and lace panels—show age-related deterioration, fraying, and loss of the original finish. These areas remain stable for display and careful wear but would benefit from future restoration if desired.

Antique lace appliqués have been carefully added over time to reinforce weakened areas and preserve the integrity of the gown. These include one small appliqué on the front skirt, a floral lace appliqué at the center back, and several discreet lace reinforcements near the lower skirt. These restorations have been executed with respect for the original garment and are reflected in the price.
The scalloped hem remains beautifully preserved, and the gown presents wonderfully overall. As with all nearly century-old textiles, gentle handling is recommended.

A remarkably elegant bridal boudoir gown that captures the understated luxury, romance, and graceful silhouette of the late 1930s.Measurements
