An exquisite late 1930s to early 1940s full-length slip dress crafted from luminous satin like fabric  in a soft white shade.

The beautifully constructed bodice features delicate floral lace, embroidered details and a flattering curved underbust seam. Fine shoulder straps and a low, open back give it an especially feminine silhouette. The skirt is cut on the bias, allowing the fabric to fall softly over the body with a fluid, elegant drape.

Originally designed as lingerie, this piece is beautiful enough to wear as a dress. Style it with a tailored jacket, delicate heels or boots for a modern romantic look. It would also make a lovely bridal slip, intimate wedding slip or honeymoon piece.

There is no fabric content label, so the exact fiber composition cannot be confirmed. The fabric has the smooth, fluid appearance and beautiful drape commonly associated with rayon satin from this period.

Condition:Very good vintage condition, with minor signs of wear consistent with the age of the garment. Clean and ready to wear.
