Wear the rare. Choose quality. Live with history.

Welcome to Lulu Boop Vintage — where carefully sourced vintage and antique garments are preserved, reimagined, and offered a second life. Each piece is unique, carrying the quiet beauty of its past and waiting to be worn again with intention.

An absolutely extraordinary antique Edwardian blouse featuring some of the finest whitework lace craftsmanship I have encountered in more than 20 years of working with antique textiles.

This breathtaking heirloom blouse is constructed from fine cotton and lavishly adorned with intricate handworked whitework lace, delicate net lace insets, and sculptural floral embroidery throughout the bodice, neckline, sleeves, and back. The level of detail is exceptional from every angle — even the back neckline and sleeves are elaborately worked, something rarely seen outside truly high-end period garments.

The sleeves alone are miniature works of art, featuring dramatic open lace motifs with dimensional floral embroidery and intricate scrolling designs that create an almost weightless effect when worn. The asymmetrical neckline with tiny mother-of-pearl buttons gives the blouse an ethereal romanticism characteristic of the finest Edwardian lingerie pieces.

The blouse has an incredibly modern wearability despite its age and would style beautifully with antique skirts, silk slips, denim, or layered over delicate lingerie for a romantic contemporary look.

Pieces with this amount of handwork are exceptionally scarce today and increasingly difficult to source in wearable condition.

Condition:

Beautiful antique condition with gentle signs of age consistent with time. One small area of damage near the lower front was carefully covered using a piece of antique vintage lace, shown clearly in photographs. The repair was done sympathetically and blends beautifully into the character of the garment. Minor soft wrinkles, faint irregularities, and subtle age wear throughout add to its authentic antique nature.

A truly remarkable collector’s piece and one of the most intricately worked antique blouses I have ever had the privilege to offer.

Vintage and antique garments do not follow modern sizing standards. Many were handmade or custom-tailored for one individual. Size tags, when present, are for reference only — measurements are essential. I’m always happy to assist with fit questions.

Condition & Care

All pieces are vintage or antique and may show gentle signs of age

Pre-1930s fabrics (silk, muslin, lace) are delicate and should be worn with care

Garments are best worn with ease, not tension

Edwardian & Victorian considerations:

Corset-era pieces often have very small waists with broader shoulders or hips

Sleeves are frequently designed as ¾ length

Buttons may vary due to age and period repairs
