An exquisite 1930s full-length slip in luminous white satin, beautifully detailed with intricate tone-on-tone floral embroidery across the bodice and additional embroidered floral motifs along the lower hem. Delicate lace trims the V-neckline, arm openings and softly scalloped hem, while satin ribbon panels create an elegant, architectural effect throughout the skirt
The long, fluid silhouette and remarkable embroidery make this far more special than an everyday undergarment. Wear it as a romantic summer dress, style it for bridal occasions, or layer it beneath a sheer antique gown.
There is no fabric label, so we cannot confirm the exact composition. The satin has the fluid appearance and beautiful sheen often associated with rayon satin from this period.
In very good antique condition, with only minor signs of age consistent with a piece from the 1930s. Clean and ready to wear.
This piece could not be placed on our Small mannequin and is best suited to an estimated XXS–XS. Please refer carefully to the measurements, as antique sizing differs from modern sizing and the fabric has no stretch.
