1940s Hand-Dyed Satin Slip Dress – Lace Embellished & One of a Kind
This 1940s satin slip dress has been given new life with a unique hand-dyed finish, creating a beautifully uneven effect that adds to its charm. The bodice is adorned with delicate lace embellishment, enhancing its timeless elegance. To preserve its beauty, I carefully covered a few small imperfections—two in the front and four in the back—with vintage lace, seamlessly blending them into the design. The result is a truly one-of-a-kind piece, perfect for lounging in vintage luxury or styling as a statement dress. 💫
Measurements:
All measurements are taken with the garment lying flat (in inches). (1 inch = 2.54 cm)
• Armpit to armpit: 15 3/4"
• Waist: 13 1/2"
• Hips: 20 1/2"
• End Width: 32 1/2"
• Total Length (shoulder to hem): 37"
For reference it didn't fit the mannquin that is a women’s size 2-4 USA with the following measurements:
• Chest: 33.86”
* Shoulder: 15”
• Waist: 26.7”
• Hips: 24”
