1930s Pure Silk & Embroidered Chiffon Bed Jacket & French Knickers Set – Mint Green Art Deco Loungewear / Bridal
A breathtaking 1930s lingerie set composed of a semi-sheer embroidered chiffon bed jacket with silk back and sleeves, and matching pure silk French knickers. The front is delicately hand embroidered, allowing the light to play through the fine chiffon, while the silk sleeves and back add luxurious softness and drape.
This set was lovingly restored: three tiny damages on the back beside the sleeve were carefully covered with vintage lace in the same mint tone, preserving the integrity and charm of the piece. One floral applique was also added to the top of the shorts to conceal a small flaw — resulting in a harmonious, one-of-a-kind
