A beautiful vintage satin slip, individually hand-dyed in shades of lilac and violet, with delicate floral embroidery and coordinating trim.
The hand-dyeing process has created an expressive, uneven wash of color, with soft tonal shifts, darker violet speckles, and areas of lighter and deeper saturation throughout. These variations are part of the piece’s hand-dyed character; the color is intentionally not uniform.
Fine spaghetti straps and a softly shaped neckline frame the embroidered bust, while the fluid skirt falls to a gently flared hem. Lace edging and decorative stitched lines near the hem add a lovely finishing touch.
Wear it loose to enjoy its natural drape, or style it with a ribbon at the waist for a more defined silhouette, as shown in some photographs.
