This stunning 1970s nightgown is far too beautiful to stay indoors—I’d absolutely wear it as a summer dress! The soft pink hue, flowing silhouette, and delicate lace details make it effortlessly romantic and one-of-a-kind.
The bodice features intricate lace accents on the chest and back, but oh, that back!—a breathtaking detail that adds a touch of vintage magic. Originally, this beauty had some minor pinholes and faint stains that wouldn’t budge, so I lovingly adorned it with vintage lace appliqués, giving it a second life. The result? A seamless restoration that enhances its charm while preserving its history.
Light, airy, and truly unique—this piece is perfect for vintage lovers who appreciate something a little different. Wear it as a nightgown, a summer dress, or however your heart desires.

• Antique fabrics (pre-1930s): Delicate materials such as 1920s silk or Edwardian muslin require extra care. These fabrics can be fragile and should be worn loosely to prevent stress or tearing.
Things to Consider for Edwardian & Victorian Clothing:
• A marked XS piece may have medium-sized shoulders and hips but a tiny waist (corset-era sizing).
• Sleeves are often ¾ length, not full-length.
• Buttons may be mismatched due to age and previous repairs.
