Wear the rare. Choose quality. Live with history.

Welcome to Lulu Boop Vintage — where carefully sourced vintage and antique garments are preserved, reimagined, and offered a second life. Each piece is unique, carrying the quiet beauty of its past and waiting to be worn again with intention.

An evocative antique Edwardian cotton nightgown, carrying both fragility and thoughtful restoration.

Crafted in sheer, feather-light cotton, this piece features a softly gathered bodice framed by delicate lace, airy short sleeves, and a flowing silhouette finished with a gentle ruffled hem.

A remarkable filet lace panel across the back becomes a focal point of the garment — not only decorative, but also reinforcing an area that had weakened over time. The motif adds a quiet narrative, transforming wear into beauty.

Throughout the piece, areas of thinning fabric, small holes, and wear consistent with age have been carefully stabilized using antique lace appliqués, each one hand-placed to preserve the integrity of the textile.

These appliqués are intentionally visible — not concealed — creating a poetic, almost patchwork effect that speaks to the life of the garment rather than erasing it.

Condition

This is an antique garment and shows visible signs of age and wear:

  • Thinning fabric, particularly through the skirt
  • Areas of discoloration and faint staining
  • Multiple hand-applied lace repairs throughout
  • Delicate overall structure — wearable with care or best suited for gentle use, display, or collection. Please hand wash.

Despite this, the piece remains structurally good and has been stabilized to extend its life.

Measurements

All measurements are taken flat (in inches).

 Fit & Sizing Notes

Vintage and antique garments do not follow modern sizing standards. Many were handmade or custom-tailored for one individual. Size tags, when present, are for reference only — measurements are essential. I’m always happy to assist with fit questions.

Condition & Care

All pieces are vintage or antique and may show gentle signs of age

Pre-1930s fabrics (silk, muslin, lace) are delicate and should be worn with care

Garments are best worn with ease, not tensio

Edwardian & Victorian considerations:

Corset-era pieces often have very small waists with broader shoulders or hips

Sleeves are frequently designed as ¾ length

Buttons may vary due to age and period repairs
