A one-of-a-kind 1930s satin slip dress, transformed by hand into an artistic statement piece.
This beautiful vintage slip has been carefully hand dyed in a rich indigo blue using a batik resist-dye technique, creating organic ivory patterns that make every angle unique. No two pieces could ever be replicated.
The bodice features delicate embroidered satin panels framed by fine lace trim, preserving the elegance and femininity of the original garment while giving it an entirely new life.
The result is a striking blend of antique craftsmanship and contemporary textile art.
A soft vintage light blue ribbon is included and may be worn to define the waist or removed for a relaxed silhouette.
Fabric: The original fiber content label is no longer present. The fabric has a beautiful satin finish and drape and is believed to be silk or a silk-like satin blend; however, because there is no surviving label, the exact fiber content cannot be guaranteed.
