An exceptionally romantic early 1930s nightgown crafted from pure silk in a luminous champagne ivory tone.
The bodice is framed with beautiful white floral lace that extends over the shoulders and forms a dramatic low scoop across the back. Delicate tonal floral embroidery decorates the front of the silk bodice, while the dropped waist opens into a long, softly gathered skirt with graceful movement.
The contrast between the champagne silk and white lace gives this piece a wonderfully ethereal quality. Elegant enough to be worn beyond the boudoir, it could be styled as an intimate wedding gown, a romantic bridal getting-ready look, or an extraordinary evening dress for someone drawn to authentic antique fashion.

This garment is approximately 90 years old and shows gentle evidence of its history. There is tonal discoloration around the lower bodice and dropped-waist area, visible as a slightly warmer brownish cast in places. The antique lace also shows minor age-related wear, particularly along portions of the neckline and at the center back. Please review the detailed photographs carefully. These imperfections have been left untouched to preserve the gown’s original color, character, and construction.
The silk remains beautiful and fluid. Clean and ready to wear.
