Wear the rare. Choose quality. Live with history.
Welcome to Lulu Boop Vintage — where carefully sourced vintage and antique garments are preserved, reimagined, and offered a second life. Each piece is unique, carrying the quiet beauty of its past and waiting to be worn again with intention.
A beautiful and delicate Edwardian combination undergarment dating to approximately 1905–1915, crafted from fine lightweight cotton batiste with lace and embroidered insertion detailing.
Combination garments like this were worn beneath dresses during the early twentieth century, combining a camisole and drawers in a single piece designed to be worn over corsets and beneath skirts during the Edwardian era.
This example is made from soft semi-sheer cotton batiste, a breathable fabric commonly used for fine lingerie of the period. The bust is decorated with a lovely embroidered insertion panel featuring geometric motifs, framed by delicate lace trim. A small ribbon bow sits at the center front, adding a charming feminine detail.
The neckline and wide shoulder straps are finished with lace, typical of Edwardian lingerie designed to sit comfortably over corsets and chemises. Below the decorative bust panel, the fabric falls softly into a loose, flowing silhouette.
The lower portion forms the traditional combination drawers construction, with separate leg openings and a classic open gusset panel, a practical feature commonly found in early twentieth-century undergarments.
The silhouette reflects the corset-era figure, with minimal bust shaping and wide-set straps characteristic of Edwardian lingerie.
The lace trims appear consistent with early machine-made cotton lace of the period, and the garment retains its airy, romantic quality typical of antique boudoir pieces.
A small printed tag is present inside the garment. This tag was likely added later in the garment’s life, possibly by a laundry service or during mid-century cleaning or repair, as printed care tags were not typical of Edwardian lingerie. The garment’s construction, materials, and design remain consistent with early twentieth-century undergarments.
Pieces like this were often handmade or produced in small lingerie workshops, and surviving examples in wearable condition are increasingly rare.
Today this piece can be styled in many ways beyond its original purpose — worn as a romantic summer top, layered with modern garments, or preserved as part of an antique textile collection.
Condition
Good antique condition for its age. Light signs of wear consistent with over a century of history. Minor marks and gentle aging of the fabric may be present. Structurally sound and beautifully preserved.

Fit & Sizing Notes
Vintage and antique garments do not follow modern sizing standards. Many were handmade or custom-tailored for one individual. Size tags, when present, are for reference only — measurements are essential. I’m always happy to assist with fit questions.
Condition & Care
• All pieces are vintage or antique and may show gentle signs of age
• Pre-1930s fabrics (silk, muslin, lace) are delicate and should be worn with care
• Garments are best worn with ease, not tension
Edwardian & Victorian considerations:
• Corset-era pieces often have very small waists with broader shoulders or hips
• Sleeves are frequently designed as ¾ length
• Buttons may vary due to age and period repairs
