A rare antique pair of ivory silk tap pants, likely dating to the 1920s–early 1930s.

Crafted in an ultra-lightweight silk with a soft fluid drape, this piece features a beautiful V-shaped back seam construction and delicate tonal embroidery at the hem. The scalloped edge and subtle monogram detail add to its intimate charm.

The fabric is delicate due to age. Several areas of wear were present, especially on the back. I carefully restored the piece by covering the damaged areas with antique lace appliqués, preserving its integrity while enhancing its romantic character. All appliqués were thoughtfully placed to blend with the original design.

– Restorations are visible and part of the garment’s story.

– There is an old repair near the button placket (shown in photos).
