Wear the rare. Choose quality. Live with history.

Welcome to Lulu Boop Vintage — where carefully sourced vintage and antique garments are preserved, reimagined, and offered a second life. Each piece is unique, carrying the quiet beauty of its past and waiting to be worn again with intention.

A beautiful pair of authentic Edwardian bloomers dating to the early 1900s, handcrafted from fine lightweight cotton and finished with a romantic band of handmade filet lace along the hem.

The bloomers feature the traditional open split drawers construction, a characteristic design of Edwardian undergarments. This practical construction allowed women to comfortably wear multiple layers of petticoats, corsets, and dresses typical of the era.

The hem is decorated with an elegant band of filet lace featuring charming ribbon bow motifs, framed by delicate geometric panels and finished with a soft scalloped lace edge. Filet lace of this quality was commonly used in fine lingerie and bridal trousseau garments of the early twentieth century.

On the lower front panel appears a delicate hand embroidered monogram “AB”, surrounded by a small dotted embroidered frame. Personal monograms were frequently added to lingerie so garments could be identified when sent to laundries or included in a young woman’s trousseau.

The waist is softly gathered at the back for a comfortable fit and gentle drape.

Small signs of age are present, consistent with a garment over one hundred years old. A small area of wear has been carefully stabilized with a delicate cotton patch in order to preserve the integrity of the antique fabric.

Two soft rose-colored ribbon bows have been added as a styling detail at the leg openings. These are removable accents and can easily be replaced or removed according to preference.

The cotton remains light, soft, and structurally strong, making this piece both a beautiful collectible and a romantic wearable antique.

Edwardian bloomers like these are increasingly sought after by collectors and can also be styled as boudoir shorts, summer lounge wear, or layered with antique camisoles and lingerie blouses for a modern romantic look.

A charming example of early twentieth-century lingerie craftsmanship.

Light signs of wear and time. A small area of fabric wear has been carefully stabilized.

Condition & Care

All pieces are vintage or antique and may show gentle signs of age

Pre-1930s fabrics (silk, muslin, lace) are delicate and should be worn with care

Garments are best worn with ease, not tension

Edwardian & Victorian considerations:

Corset-era pieces often have very small waists with broader shoulders or hips

Sleeves are frequently designed as ¾ length

Buttons may vary due to age and period repairs
