Rare 1930s Silk Nightgown with Attached Bed Jacket – A Dreamy Vintage Treasure
This stunning 1930s silk nightgown is truly special—what sets it apart is its attached bed jacket, creating an effortlessly elegant, all-in-one piece. The nightgown features beautiful pleated details on the shoulders, bodice, and sleeves, adding soft structure and movement. The bed jacket is adorned with delicate floral embroidery, intricate cut-out work on the flowers and bows, and a flowing silhouette that drapes beautifully.
To restore and enhance its beauty, I covered three tiny pinholes on the hem with vintage lace appliqués and added a lace trim at the back of the neck, making this already unique piece even more special.

Things to Consider for Edwardian & Victorian Clothing:
• A marked XS piece may have medium-sized shoulders and hips but a tiny waist (corset-era sizing).
• Sleeves are often ¾ length, not full-length.
• Buttons may be mismatched due to age and previous repairs.
