1950s Hand-Dyed Green Satin Slip Dress – Vintage Lace & Embroidery
This stunning 1950s satin slip dress has been hand-dyed into a gorgeous shade of green, making it a true one-of-a-kind piece. Delicate lace and floral embroidery embellishments add to its vintage charm. Perfect for effortless lounging or, in my opinion, the ultimate summer dress.
While it remains in good condition for its age, I lovingly restored two areas with vintage lace appliqués—turning a flaw into a beautiful detail that only enhances its character. A piece worth saving, now ready for its next chapter.

• Antique fabrics (pre-1930s): Delicate materials such as 1920s silk or Edwardian muslin require extra care. These fabrics can be fragile and should be worn loosely to prevent stress or tearing.
Things to Consider for Edwardian & Victorian Clothing:
• A marked XS piece may have medium-sized shoulders and hips but a tiny waist (corset-era sizing).
• Sleeves are often ¾ length, not full-length.
• Buttons may be mismatched due to age and previous repairs.
