1900s Silk Nightgown Reimagined – Hand-Dyed Green Mini Dress with Lace
This stunning 1900s silk nightgown has been lovingly transformed into a one-of-a-kind mini dress. The original skirt was too damaged to save, so I gave it new life by shortening it, resulting in a flirty and elegant silhouette. I added delicate lace trim to the hem, complementing the original lace embellishments on the bodice. To complete the transformation, it was hand-dyed to this breathtaking shade of green, making it even more unique. Shouldes where a bit distressed to so I added a stunning vintage lace to cover them .The silk drapes beautifully, and the overall look is both romantic and effortlessly wearable. A truly special piece for vintage lovers who appreciate history with a modern twist! 💚

All measurements are taken with the garment lying flat (in inches). (1 inch = 2.54 cm)

• Vintage and antique items have been previously loved, so small imperfections may exist.
• Hand-dyed pieces: Due to the nature of hand-dyeing, colors may not be perfectly even. Please wash these items delicately, preferably alone or with similar colors.
• Antique fabrics (pre-1930s): Delicate materials such as 1920s silk or Edwardian muslin require extra care. These fabrics can be fragile and should be worn loosely to prevent stress or tearing.
Things to Consider for Edwardian & Victorian Clothing:
• A marked XS piece may have medium-sized shoulders and hips but a tiny waist (corset-era sizing).
• Sleeves are often ¾ length, not full-length.
• Buttons may be mismatched due to age and previous repairs.
