Welcome to Lulu Boop Vintage — a curated world of antique and vintage garments, thoughtfully preserved and reimagined to be worn again. Each piece is one of a kind, carrying its own past and ready to become part of yours.

A rare and exquisitely delicate late-1920s silk teddy, also known as a step-in or combination, crafted during the height of the Jazz Age when women embraced freedom, movement, and modernity.

Made of whisper-light buttery silk chiffon, this piece features a softly squared neckline adorned with hand-embroidered miniature roses and floral sprigs, a signature detail of fine lingerie from the flapper era. The silhouette is intentionally loose and fluid, with a dropped waist seam and gently gathered hips — designed to skim the body rather than shape it.

This teddy would have been stepped into and worn directly against the skin, replacing the earlier chemise-and-drawers combination. It allowed women to move freely under the straight, sheer dresses of the 1920s and represents a pivotal moment in lingerie history: when undergarments became lighter, softer, and quietly sensual.

A true collector’s textile, yet still stunning for modern styling as a layering piece, resort wear, or intimate fashion statement.
