A rare and exquisitely romantic late-1930s silk lingerie dress in soft antique ivory, featuring delicate hand embroidery and an ethereal butterfly motif across the bodice.
Cut from feather-light silk chiffon or crepe, the gown drapes fluidly from softly gathered shoulders into a flowing skirt that moves beautifully with the body. Fine pintucking shapes the bodice and sleeves, while lace edging frames the neckline with understated elegance. The deep V-back adds a graceful, feminine silhouette typical of pre-war boudoir pieces.
