Welcome to Lulu Boop Vintage — a curated world of antique and vintage garments, thoughtfully preserved and reimagined to be worn again. Each piece is one of a kind, carrying its own past and ready to become part of yours.
A rare and exquisite example of early 20th century bridal lingerie craftsmanship, this authentic antique silk gown dates to the transitional period between the Edwardian era and the early Jazz Age, circa 1918–1923.
Originally created as part of a bride’s trousseau, this elegant piece would have been worn during honeymoons, private mornings, and intimate evenings at home. Its fluid, column silhouette reflects the era’s move away from restrictive corsetry toward softer, natural lines, celebrating comfort, femininity, and refined luxury.
The gown is crafted from luminous silk, adorned with delicate French lace panels and hand-embroidered silk batiste inserts. The deep V neckline, both front and back, is framed with finely appliquéd lace, while subtle floral embroidery accents the hem — each motif individually stitched by hand.
An adjustable silk satin ribbon tie at the empire waist allows for a flexible and flattering fit.
This piece embodies the romance and craftsmanship of early 20th century luxury lingerie and remains remarkably wearable today, whether styled as bridal wear, a resort gown, or an elevated lounge piece.
A true heirloom garment, preserved for over a century.
Restoration & Conservation
This garment has been thoughtfully conserved using period-appropriate antique lace appliqués to reinforce and discreetly cover a few tiny pinholes in the silk. All materials used are authentic vintage textiles, carefully selected to harmonize with the original lace and embroidery.
This gentle restoration was performed to preserve the integrity and longevity of the piece while maintaining its historical character and wearability. No modern fabrics or irreversible alterations were introduced.
Very good antique condition with gentle age-related patina consistent with a 100+ year old silk garment.
All original lace, embroidery, and ribbon remain intact.
All measurements are taken flat (in inches).
Please compare with a garment you own for best fit.

Fit & Sizing Notes
Vintage and antique garments do not follow modern sizing standards. Many were handmade or tailored for a specific individual. Size labels are for reference only — measurements are what matter. I’m always happy to help with fit questions.
