Welcome to Lulu Boop Vintage — a curated world of antique and vintage garments, thoughtfully preserved and reimagined to be worn again. Each piece is one of a kind, carrying its own past and ready to become part of yours.
An authentic Edwardian cotton batiste slip dress dating to the early 1910s, preserved in exceptional original condition.
Crafted from fine ivory cotton, this piece features an exquisite antique lace neckline with delicate floral and scrolling motifs. At the center of the bodice, two finely embroidered birds face one another — a romantic motif often symbolizing love and devotion in early 20th century textiles.
Below the lacework appears the original embroidered name “Pochola,” a traditional Argentine nickname, delicately stitched into the fabric. The personalization suggests the garment was custom-made or commissioned, likely belonging to a woman from early 1900s Argentina.
The hem remains crisp with original stitched bands. The structure is fully intact. No restorations. No structural repairs. The garment has been beautifully preserved for over a century.
Condition: Excellent antique condition with no visible damages or alterations.
A rare named Edwardian garment featuring symbolic bird embroidery and Argentine provenance — both wearable and collectible.
