Wear the rare. Choose quality. Live with history.
Welcome to Lulu Boop Vintage — where carefully sourced vintage and antique garments are preserved, reimagined, and offered a second life. Each piece is unique, carrying the quiet beauty of its past and waiting to be worn again with intention.
This romantic boudoir nightgown dates to the Edwardian era, circa 1905–1915, and is crafted from fine cotton batiste, a lightweight luxury cotton commonly used for high-quality lingerie and trousseau garments of the early twentieth century.
The bodice features a beautiful band of antique lace across the neckline, framed by wide lace shoulder straps that give the piece its elegant structure. Across the bust runs a striking arrangement of antique lace appliqué forming graceful scrolling motifs, creating a decorative focal point typical of refined Edwardian lingerie.
The cotton batiste is further adorned with embroidered floral motifs and tiny raised embroidered dots scattered throughout the bodice, adding subtle texture and charm to the design. A beautiful silk ribbon detail at the neckline enhances the soft romantic character of the garment.
From the bust the gown falls in a loose, airy silhouette, allowing the fine cotton batiste to drape beautifully. The hem is finished with a delicate lace trim that completes the piece with understated elegance.
Pieces like this were often created as part of a bride’s trousseau, the carefully prepared collection of fine garments a woman brought with her at the beginning of married life.
Today it remains a lovely example of Edwardian romantic lingerie, perfect for collectors, styling, or careful wear.
I am including the vuelven ribbon to cinco the waist.
Condition
Very good antique condition with gentle signs of age consistent with a garment over 100 years old. The cotton remains soft and wearable.
