Wear the rare. Choose quality. Live with history.
Welcome to Lulu Boop Vintage — where carefully sourced vintage and antique garments are preserved, reimagined, and offered a second life. Each piece is unique, carrying the quiet beauty of its past and waiting to be worn again with intention.
An authentic Edwardian-era cotton teddy, dating to approximately 1915–1925.
Crafted from fine semi-sheer cotton voile in a soft antique white tone, this early 20th-century step-in features its original crochet lace yoke and shoulder straps, beautifully intact and delicately worked. Intricate lace panels accent the upper bodice, while the lower portion falls in a loose, airy silhouette finished with a narrow lace-trimmed hem.
This piece was designed as a one-piece undergarment — commonly referred to as a “teddy” or step-in chemise — worn beneath sheer dresses of the Edwardian and early 1920s period.
The garment retains its original construction. One small area of fabric wear along the lower side seam has been thoughtfully reinforced with a period-appropriate appliqué to preserve its integrity.
Lightweight and semi-sheer, it may be worn as intended as antique lingerie, styled as modern loungewear, or layered as a romantic summer piece. I think its perfect for the beach.
Condition: Very good antique condition with strong lace integrity .
A delicate and authentic example of early 20th-century intimate wear.
