Silk Lace Bridal Nightgown - 50s

Exquisite 1950s Silk Bridal Nightgown that epitomizes elegance and timeless beauty. It features an meticulously hand embellished bodice in delicate lace, floral embroidery and pleated chiffon on the laterals. It had a mini stain just in the centre of the flower wich I covered with lawn extra large plearl. Cute result.

Sourced in Buenos Aires, Argentina from the Estate of an amazing lady ( I cannot reveal her name but they called her Mamita (mummy in Spanish). I will be listing amazing nightgowns with the full “Mamita” embroidered on them. Last picture is actually Mamita, check how stylish she was! She lived between Buenos Aires and Paris and she bought most of her clothes in Paris. I sell Vintage and Antique Clothing and I would say anything before 30s should be treated with care and worn with care. Mostly these items will be fragile especially 20s silk or Edwardian very fine Muslin. Some can not handle stress and will tear easily. Should be bought a size bigger where possible or should be a little loose on.
