1930s Black Lace Crop Top – Repurposed Evening Gown Bodice | Wear-It-Both-Ways Design
An exquisite 1930s black lace crop top, thoughtfully reimagined from the bodice of an original Art Deco evening gown. This delicate piece is made of intricately patterned black machine lace with romantic floral motifs and scalloped edges. It’s light, sheer, and effortlessly elegant.
Originally open at the front, I decided to stitch it closed, transforming it into a chic, wearable crop top perfect for modern styling. One of my favorite features? It’s reversible. I couldn’t definitively determine the original front or back—so I embraced the ambiguity. Whether you prefer a slightly shorter front or back, it looks stunning either way (pictures both ways)A versatile treasure for your wardrobe.
