Vintage Bob Mackie for Glydons Lace & Satin Teddy — Late 1970s / Early 1980s
A rare piece from Bob Mackie’s short-lived collaboration with luxury lingerie house Glydons, known for their refined designs and couture finishes. Mackie, the legendary Hollywood costume designer celebrated for his work with Cher,Diana Ross, Barbara Straisand and countless stage stars, brought his glamorous aesthetic to the world of lingerie — merging sophistication and sensuality in every detail.
Crafted in ivory satin with delicate floral lace overlays, this romper-style teddy features a bias-cut fit, fixed straps, and scalloped lace hems. Two small age spots were artistically covered with antique lace appliqués (front and back hem), preserving its beauty while adding to its uniqueness.
