1930s Hand-Dyed Purple Silk Tap Pants - Embroidered Hem - Vintage Lingerie Turned Summer Shorts
A rare find with a global story! These stunning 1930s silk tap pants were sourced in Argentina, but the tag reads DA FU GUI - HAND EMBROIDERED 100% PURE SILK, made in Hangzhou, China, highlighting their exquisite craftsmanship.
Hand-dyed in a dreamy shade of purple, the silk took on a rich, luminous hue, while the delicate embroidery on the sides near the hem remains beautifully intact. Originally designed as lingerie, these elegant tap pants now make the perfect vintage summer shorts effortless, chic, and truly one of a kind.

• Antique fabrics (pre-1930s): Delicate materials such as 1920s silk or Edwardian muslin require extra care. These fabrics can be fragile and should be worn loosely to prevent stress or tearing.
Things to Consider for Edwardian & Victorian Clothing:
• A marked XS piece may have medium-sized shoulders and hips but a tiny waist(corset-era sizing).
• Sleeves are often ¾ length, not full-length.
• Buttons may be mismatched due to age and previous repairs.
