A quietly exquisite silk blouse from the 1940s, preserved in its original soft mint tone—a color rarely found and even more rarely untouched.
The front is adorned with an intricate lace appliqué panel, delicately placed over fine vertical pintucks. This combination reflects the romantic Edwardian influence that re-emerged in the late 1930s, when femininity returned to fashion through texture, softness, and detail.
The silk has a subtle satin finish, giving the blouse a gentle luminosity that shifts with the light. It is sheer enough to feel ethereal, yet structured enough to hold its shape—a balance that makes it especially wearable today.
