Welcome to Lulu Boop Vintage — a curated world of antique and vintage garments, thoughtfully preserved and reimagined to be worn again. Each piece is one of a kind, carrying its own past and ready to become part of yours.
A beautifully preserved late 1930s to early 1940s true silk slip dress, cut on the bias for a fluid, body-skimming silhouette. Crafted in a soft peach silk with a muted natural glow, this piece features an architectural lace bodice panel that gently shapes the bust, a hallmark of pre-war lingerie design.
The slip is finished with fine silk spaghetti straps, a straight back accented with a narrow lace band, and a softly scalloped lace hem. The silk drapes effortlessly and moves with the body, reflecting the elegance and sensuality of late-1930s lingerie, when slips were both functional and exquisitely beautiful.
This piece was originally intended as luxury undergarment wear, yet today translates effortlessly as a modern slip dress, perfect styled alone or layered under tailoring.
