A rare 1930s–early 1940s silk satin bias cut gown, hand dyed in our atelier to a soft celadon mint tone.
Originally white, this piece was carefully transformed to enhance the fluidity and depth of the silk while preserving its original construction and delicate lace.
The satin is thick, cool to the touch, and beautifully weighted — draping effortlessly along the body in true bias-cut fashion. The silhouette is long and refined, with a graceful scoop back and lace detailing at the neckline.
The dye is even and intentional, giving the gown a subtle European Riviera mood — understated, luminous, and quietly

Any accessories used in the picture are not included, there are there to show how the outfit could be worn or a decorative object. I need to be honest. I sell Vintage and Antique Clothing and I would say anything before 30s should be treated with care and worn with care. Mostly these items will be fragile especially 20s silk or Edwardian very fine Muslin. Some can not handle stress and will tear easily. Should be bought a size bigger where possible or should be a little loose on.
